Plan B Announces Forest Concert

Renowned singer-songwriter Plan B has recently announced a concert series to be held this summer in various woodland locations across England. These concerts, organized as a part of Forestry Commission Live Music, will allow his fans to see him perform in numerous marvelous forest locations.

Plan B, also known as Ben Drew, came in spotlight in 2006 with the release of his debut album “Who Needs Actions When You Got Words”.

This hip hop album received favorable reviews from critics reaching #30 in the album chart of United Kingdom. His next project, “The Defamation of Strickland Banks” was to be one of the most popular albums created by him.

This soul-influenced album tells the story of Strickland Banks, a fictional character created and played by the artist himself. “The Defamation of Strickland Banks” was released in 2010 and went on to become one of the top five sellers of the year winning the Album of the Year.

The album continued its presence in various top music charts through 2011. Singles form this album like “Stay Too Long”, “The Recluse” and “Prayin” were among the most popular songs of the year. Plan B also won the trio of Ivor Novellos for Songwriter of the Year and Brit Award for Best British Male for “The Defamation of Strickland Banks” while the single “She Said” became the Most Performed Work of 2010.
